All ball valves products are suitable for the use with fluids proper to the Group II, as defined in Article 9, Section 2.2 of Directive 97/23/EC, that is to say not toxic, not inflammable and not explosive fluids; to this macro Group II also belong the refrigerant fluids listed and classified L1 in Annex E of standard EN 378-1:2011.
- Minimal temperature : -45°C
- Maximal temperature: +150°C
- Maximal working pressure: 45 Bar
- Valve is suitable to use with all Freon’s gases
The body and the chromium plated ball are manufactured in hot-forged brass EN 12420 -CW617N; the solder
connections are in copper tube EN 12735-1-Cu-DHP. The spindle is in especially treated steel and the groove is in stainless steel.
The electric welding of the bodies and the Chloroprene rubber (CR) for outlet seal gaskets, si assembled on the spindle, to prevent any leaks. At last, specifically modified PTFE seat ball gaskets ensure low working torque and prevent any leaks. The special design of ball valves permits: the bi-directional flow of the refrigerant and consequently, the assembly on the plant without considering the direction of the refrigerant – ensures the internal equilibrium of pressures when the valve is closed – prevents any risk of ejection of the spindle.
The range of the product is classified in the article 9, 2.2 point, of directive PED 97/23/CE
